Job summary

SCANIA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Regional Compliance Officer for Asia & Pacific to lead compliance efforts across multiple countries. The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer in Sweden and collaborates with regional management to embed compliance into business processes.

The candidate should have a law degree or equivalent, 5–7 years of compliance experience in an international environment, and willingness to travel. Strong analytical and collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Law degree (or equivalent education in business or finance) with 5–7 years of compliance experience in an international company or law firm.
• Strong analytical skills related to compliance and business issues.
• Independent work style with good prioritization and follow-up abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to implementing and improving the Scania Group Compliance Program across regions.
• Identify and manage compliance risks, supporting a culture of integrity.
• Develop and deliver compliance trainings and conduct risk assessments.
• Coordinate local legal requirements in anti-corruption, AML, competition law, human rights, and sustainability compliance.
• Work with regional and unit management to integrate compliance into business processes.
