Job summary

Citi in Singapore is seeking an APAC Rates Trading Middle Office Analyst to process orders and support the Rates trading desk in a hybrid work setup at Changi Business Park.

The role focuses on trade lifecycle, reconciliations, issue resolution, and controls, with opportunities to contribute to risk management and regulatory reporting. Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in rates operations, strong communication, and a degree in Business/Accounting/Finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Rates Trade Support/ Operations / Middle Office within the Financial Services Industry
• Knowledge of the front to back Operations process including confirmations, settlements, and regulatory reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with senior executives and SMEs
• Able to work in a fast-paced, pressurized environment
• Understanding of derivatives (Interest Rate Swaps, Cross Currency swaps, FRA, OIS, Bonds) and trade matching/clearing

Responsibilities

• Support Rates Trading desk to resolve trade flow exceptions and trade lifecycle events
• Perform trade and position reconciliation to ensure completeness of trade capture
• Identify and resolve securities and derivative settlement issues and suggest process improvements
• Ensure controls are performed, completed, and signed off in a timely manner
• Monitor and propose solutions to errors to minimize risk to Citi
• Design and analyze moderately complex reports with leadership guidance
• Assist with control activities and launch of new products and services
• Escalate and manage control issues with transparency and compliance
