Job summary

JAC Recruitment in Singapore seeks an APAC Procurement Lead to establish and drive procurement excellence across multiple countries including Singapore, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan and Malaysia. This regional role partners with senior stakeholders to shape sourcing strategy and governance.

You will lead end-to-end sourcing, supplier management, contract governance, and analytics, delivering cost optimization and risk-mitigated procurement across APAC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing with APAC regional exposure.
• Experience in governance, category and supplier management.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end sourcing and contract processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and spend analytics.
• Mandarin language capability to support China stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and establish procurement governance, policies, controls, and best practices across APAC.
• Drive spend visibility, category management, and sourcing strategies to optimize costs and supplier performance.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing and tender processes across multiple countries.
• Develop and maintain supplier performance frameworks, KPIs, risk assessments, and review processes.
• Oversee contract lifecycle management, renewals, compliance, and commercial risk mitigation.
• Deliver procurement analytics, reporting, savings tracking, and actionable insights to support business decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and regional business units to drive procurement transformation.

As part of their continued growth across the region, they are seeking an APAC Procurement Lead to establish and drive procurement excellence across multiple countries including Singapore, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Malaysia.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to build and shape a regional procurement function, driving sourcing strategy, supplier management, governance, and cost optimization initiatives while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across APAC.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of strategic sourcing and procurement experience with APAC regional exposure.
• Proven experience in procurement governance, category management, supplier management, and contract management.
• Strong understanding of procurement policies, controls, and end-to-end sourcing processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems, procurement tools, and spend analytics platforms.
• Mandarin language capability is required to support communication with suppliers and stakeholders across China.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to operate independently in a regional role.
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
