Job summary

gmp recruitment services (s) pte ltd in Singapore seeks a dynamic Business Development professional to drive precious metals trading growth across Asia. You will build and maintain relationships with customers and trading partners, expanding trading activities for minor metals such as rhodium, iridium, and ruthenium, and coordinate with regional desks to ensure a consistent market approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in sales, business development, trading, or account management.
• Strong knowledge of precious metals markets and hedging strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly for customer visits and events.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers and trading partners while identifying new business opportunities in the precious metals market.
• Expand trading activities for minor metals, including rhodium, iridium, and ruthenium in the region.
• Identify new leads and develop channels for purchase and sale of precious metals, communicating trading and hedging strategies.
• Keep up to date with market developments and industry trends to support informed commercial decisions.
• Coordinate activities with German, US and Chinese trading desks and Asia-based sales colleagues to ensure a consistent market approach.
• Support other business units in precious metal sales and recycling metal purchasing, representing the company at industry associations and events such as SBMA.
• Travel regularly to customer sites and industry events to strengthen relationships and expand the network; handle information with discretion.
