Job summary

Stripe is expanding its APAC Money Management team in Singapore to bring a powerful money movement platform to Asia-Pacific. As an engineering leader, you will own the technical roadmap, hire and mentor engineers, and drive system design across distributed services and regulatory requirements.

You’ll partner with product, legal, and partnerships to navigate licensing, banks, and networks, ensuring robust, scalable, and compliant solutions while shipping value to users in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in engineering management with 8+ years software engineering experience.
• Experience taking product or team from zero to one in a new market or product line.
• History of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple pods and grow the team.
• Own the engineering side of a zero-to-one charter and define the roadmap.
• Partner with product, legal, compliance, and partnerships to ship.
• Review designs, read code, and understand Stripe's money movement stack.
