Job summary

Hudson River Trading (HRT) seeks a Junior Electronic Trading Support Engineer to join our Global Trade Operations team in Singapore. The role focuses on managing HRT’s live trading environment, configuring, monitoring, and optimizing trading while balancing risk, compliance, and PnL during market hours.

You will be part of a fast-paced, high-performance team that values clear communication and practical problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Working knowledge of UNIX systems.
• Experience with Python, Perl or Bash scripting.
• Excellent communication and client interfacing.
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and fast to adapt.
• Interest in electronic markets and market data.

Responsibilities

• Support live trading during APAC market hours.
• You will be required to work Sunday - Thursday
• Respond to external market alerts and outages.
• Be the first line of defense when the inevitable happens to our trading system.
• Interface with exchanges & other external parties to support trading.
• Handle order flow from HRT’s trading desks.
