Job summary

Hudson River Trading in Singapore is seeking a Middle Office Analyst to join our post-trade team. You will monitor daily discrepancies, coordinate with counterparties, and help maintain efficient book management across markets.

The ideal candidate has a technical mindset, experience with Python/SQL, and strong attention to detail to support automation, process documentation, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related technical discipline
• 2–10 years of relevant industry experience preferred
• Experience with Python and UNIX operating systems (Linux)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience in maintenance, planning, or construction of OMS/PMS/EMS is preferred
• Understanding of corporate actions and exposure to complex commission schedules
• Familiarity with AI prompting preferred
• Ability to debug, analyze, and troubleshoot problems quickly under pressure

Responsibilities

• Work closely with external counterparties to monitor and resolve daily position, trade, and cash discrepancies, supporting effective book management.
• Work closely with multiple internal stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to current workflows.
• Document complex processes to develop middle office guidelines.
• Onboard new trading into existing technology and platforms.
• Reconcile daily position, cash, and PnL breaks in coordination with both internal and external parties.
• Research & process applicable corporate actions.
• Maintain and update the commission structures across all markets.
