Job summary

Bank of China Limited Singapore Branch is seeking an Assistant Director/Senior Assistant Director for its Structured Finance Team within the Investment Banking Division. The role focuses on origination, structuring and execution of leveraged and syndicated finance across Asia-Pacific, engaging with corporate clients, financial sponsors and private equity sponsors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, syndicated loans, corporate banking, or related product area within a financial institution.
• Proven track record in origination, structuring or execution of leveraged finance and/or syndicated loan transactions in APAC.
• Strong financial modelling, credit analysis, and valuation skills with experience preparing credit papers and credit committee materials.
• Deep understanding of loan market dynamics, syndication mechanics, and leveraged capital structures across APAC.
• Fluent in English with Mandarin preferred for liaising with Greater China clients.

Responsibilities

• Origination & business development: drive mandate wins; lead origination and structuring of leveraged finance transactions; prepare pitch books and client materials; manage senior relationships with CIOs and CFOs.
• Commercial structuring & market discovery: design capital structures; determine pricing and term sheet conditions; provide market updates to internal teams and clients; lead full-cycle transaction execution.
• Client coverage & cross-functional collaboration: work with Relationship Managers and product partners; ensure deal execution from origination to close; maintain deal records and portfolio monitoring.
