Job summary

Midea APAC is seeking a Senior Specialist, Internal Control & Risk Management (APAC) to join our APAC headquarters in Singapore. You will partner with Global Risk Management to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks using the COSO framework across APAC entities.

You will drive governance design, risk promotion, and remediation execution, while championing policy optimization and anti-fraud investigations. This role demands strong English and Chinese proficiency and regional MNC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Law, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CFE preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in internal controls, corporate risk management, compliance, or audits.
• APAC regional experience in an MNC is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, strengthen, and scale internal control governance across APAC.
• Promote proactive risk management, control optimization, and compliance monitoring.
• Identify risks, control gaps, and remediation plans with overseas entities.
• Audit local procedures to identify regulatory gaps and optimize workflows.
• Assist investigations and anti-fraud efforts when required.
• Deliver risk-awareness training and build risk-capable culture.
• Share best practices across borders with regional stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal/external audits and cross-functional initiatives.
