Job summary

Kaspersky seeks a Government Affairs and Public Policy Manager to strengthen its engagement across the Asia-Pacific region. The role requires an international outlook, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and in-depth understanding of regulatory trends in technology, data, and cybersecurity.

You will align policy initiatives with Kaspersky’s business objectives and navigate cross-cultural environments.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in technology/public affairs or government.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, international relations, public policy or information technology.
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
• Solid project management capabilities for coordinating multi-stakeholder responses.
• Ability to interact cross-culturally with stakeholders across regions.
• Expertise in cybersecurity and data policy as applied to public affairs initiatives.
• Fluent English; additional APAC language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute government affairs strategies across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Support leadership during high-level engagements with external stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with decision-makers and organizations.
• Monitor policies in regional markets and explain business implications to internal teams.
• Advise leadership on policy changes, geopolitics and trade-offs.
• Shape external narrative on cybersecurity, data protection and AI regulation; draft submissions and policy papers.
• Support participation in forums, events and public-private collaborations.
• Represent the company’s positions in stakeholder meetings and public consultations.
