Job summary

Super Micro Computer, Inc. seeks a seasoned Director, Global Trade Compliance based in Taiwan to lead the company’s export compliance program across Asia and worldwide operations. You will partner with global teams to support rapid growth in AI, HPC, and data center deployments.

The role requires deep U.S. export controls expertise, strong regional knowledge, and the ability to build scalable compliance processes in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
• 12+ years in global trade compliance in tech/electronics/semi/servers.
• Experience with Taiwan/Asia-Pacific supply chains and global distribution.
• Expertise in export controls, licensing, sanctions, and risk management.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day export compliance operations for Taiwan and Asia-Pacific.
• Advise leadership on export control risk, licensing, and geopolitical developments.
• Oversee EAR, OFAC, and anti-boycott compliance across global ops.
• Manage customs compliance, classifications, origin, and documentation.
• Drive training and cross-functional collaboration on trade compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting AI, GPUs, semiconductors, data centers.
