BeathChapman Pte Ltd partners with a medical device firm to appoint an APAC Trade Compliance Officer who will lead the regional trade compliance framework across APAC. You will own compliance activities and guide stakeholders on customs, export controls, and regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on driving best practices, monitoring regulatory developments, and delivering compliant operations across multiple markets, with support for audits and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in trade compliance, customs or international logistics.
• Strong knowledge of export controls and sanctions screening.
• Experience supporting regional programmes in a multinational environment.
• Familiarity with country of origin, tariff classification and cross-border rules.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) is a plus.
• Mandarin proficiency would help communication with APAC stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Support and maintain the regional trade compliance programme in line with global policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide guidance on export controls, customs regulations, tariff classification, country of origin and sanctions screening matters
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations
• Conduct compliance reviews and support internal, external and regulatory audits
• Develop and maintain compliance procedures, controls and documentation
• Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Legal and business stakeholders on trade compliance initiatives
