Job summary

Kulicke & Soffa is seeking a Global Payroll Manager to lead Asia-wide payroll operations, governance, and outsourcing partnerships. You will collaborate with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, and external providers to ensure accurate, compliant payroll delivery while driving transformation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree and minimum of 10 years of progressive regional payroll experience, with 3–4 years in management, within MNC/SSC environments.
• Knowledge of payroll principles, statutory regulations, SOX, and data privacy.
• Experience overseeing outsourced payroll providers and vendor governance.
• Strong financial acumen to translate payroll data into accounting entries and reports.
• Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration across HR, Finance, Tax, Legal.
• Experience leading payroll transformation projects, automation, and vendor transitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll operations across Asia with governance to ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery.
• Provide strategic oversight of outsourced payroll partnerships and vendor performance.
• Drive regional payroll strategy, standardization, automation, and scalable operating models.
• Oversee payroll-related reporting, equity administration, and statutory filings with cross-functional partners.
• Lead payroll transformation projects and process improvements to support business needs.
• Act as Payroll SME to HR, Finance, Tax, Legal and external providers.
• Provide analytics and governance support for workforce planning and organizational changes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, labor, and internal control requirements across Asia Pacific.
• Drive audit activities and remediation to strengthen controls.
• Develop and coach a high-performing payroll team.
