Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB in Singapore seeks a Head of Global Markets IT for Asia-Pacific to lead end-to-end software delivery, operations and continuous improvement of technology capabilities supporting Global Markets in the region.

You will oversee a workforce of 250–300, drive modern engineering practices, and act as a strategic technology partner to the business while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience in technology organisations, with responsibility for large geographically distributed engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of Global Markets and capital markets activities, with regulatory and risk considerations.
• Ability to lead through influence, engage senior stakeholders and build alignment across Business, Technology and control functions.
• Strategic and pragmatic mindset with execution focus.
• Inclusive and people-centred leadership, developing senior leaders and fostering cross-cultural collaboration.
• Experience in attracting and retaining high-calibre technology talent and building sustainable capabilities.
• Experience in designing and delivering greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Experience in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering.
• Solid software engineering background enabling architectural leadership.
• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, data technologies and UX.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all GMI teams and activities across Asia-Pacific, including Heads of GMI in Hong Kong and Japan.
• Shape and develop software engineering capabilities to support bank priorities.
• Build a sustainable, inclusive, high-performing organisation.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, secure, resilient solutions meeting standards.
• Own end-to-end ownership of applications and projects within remit.
