Job summary

Decathlon Singapore is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to support e-commerce development and operations across APAC. You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot, delivering features that power digital commerce.

You will work with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into high-performance APIs, ensure security with OAuth 2.0, and contribute to architecture decisions and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on mastery of Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable backend code in Java/Spring Boot for e-commerce features.
• Design robust backend APIs and microservices with RESTful interfaces and OAuth 2.0 security.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, tests, and documentation.
• Collaborate with PMs, EMs, and stakeholders to deliver features aligned with priorities.
