Job summary

Merck Life Science in Singapore seeks a senior distribution and supply chain transformation leader to design and standardize end-to-end processes across APAC. You will drive ERP and digital solution enablement, oversee a structured PoC pipeline, and partner across IT, data, procurement, quality, and external partners to deliver scalable improvements.

Qualifications

Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
Postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
7+ years in distribution or supply chain ops with multi-country/site exposure.
ERP implementation experience or significant distribution process transformation (SAP SD/MM/EWM/TM).
Lean and Six Sigma with process mapping and value stream analysis; Green/Black Belt a plus.
Data governance fundamentals with master data, data quality, ownership, and KPI definition; analytics with SQL and Power BI/Tableau (Python advantageous).
Ability to evaluate and shape tech solutions involving automation, robotics, AI/ML, visibility platforms, serialization, or cold chain monitoring.

Responsibilities

Shape the digital and operational backbone of distribution across APAC.
Own process design and standardization; drive ERP and digital solution enablement.
Lead a structured PoC pipeline to validate initiatives before regional scale-up.
Collaborate across business, IT, data, quality, procurement and external partners.
Build the analytics foundation that provides APAC Distribution a trusted single source of truth.
Ensure every solution is commercially viable, data-enabled, compliant and adoption-ready.
