Job summary

SD Legal is seeking a highly experienced commercial lawyer to join its established APAC legal team in Singapore. The role focuses 70% on commercial work and 30% on projects, regulation and compliance, supporting expansion into the hyperscale data center sector.

The successful candidate will structure and negotiate deals, influence senior stakeholders, and drive regional regulatory initiatives, with potential to lead others as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 8–14 PQE with top-tier law firm training
• In-house experience or significant secondments considered
• Exposure to Data Center led commercial work
• Strong communication across local, regional and international stakeholders
• Stable CV and driven mentality for a challenging APAC role

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate and support a wide variety of deal-focused work across APAC
• Navigate senior stakeholders to align local/regional outcomes with group strategy
• Support regulatory and compliance matters regionally
• Own deals across the region and develop into a people leadership role
