Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Customs and Compliance Operations Manager to lead regulatory compliance, mitigate customs risks, and oversee day-to-day operations across the APAC region. The role standardizes processes and drives improvements to enhance efficiency within the supply chain.

The candidate will manage regulatory requirements, liaise with stakeholders and authorities, and ensure adherence to GDP/GMP standards while supporting lawful movement of pharmaceutical products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ relevant work experience in customs/compliance.
• Strong knowledge of customs compliance operations and processes.
• Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Ensure customs compliance with local laws, regulations, and international standards across APAC.
• Identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Prevent penalties through accurate administration and oversight.
• Engage with stakeholders, brokers, and authorities on customs matters.
• Drive continuous improvement of customs processes and controls.
• Adhere to Pfizer SOPs and corporate values in operations.
• Monitor performance and escalate issues promptly.
• Maintain GDP/GMP compliance for pharmaceutical movement.
• Represent the region in global and regional forums.
• Be prepared for calls outside standard hours.
