Job summary

Amazon’s APAC Global Trade Compliance program is seeking an experienced APAC GTC Program Manager for Customs Operations to lead import/export compliance, tariff classifications, and broker relationships across Asia Pacific.

You will work with the APAC GTC Lead and global teams to drive improvements, manage regulatory changes, and ensure compliant cross-border flow of goods for Amazon Leo.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing global trade compliance and import/export controls for highly sensitive technology.
• 5+ years of experience managing relationships with customs brokers and regular import/export processes.
• Deep knowledge of APAC customs regulations, HTS classification, customs valuation and rules of origin.
• Knowledge of export control regulations ITAR, FTR, EAR across APAC countries.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage compliance programs for cross-border flow of goods, including sensitive technologies.
• Oversee HS classification processes for the APAC region and ensure accurate HS code assignments.
• Optimize customs clearance processes to reduce delays and costs; collaborate with logistics teams.
• Develop contingency plans for customs-related disruptions and onboard brokers in new APAC countries.
• Manage relationships with customs brokers and agencies; establish regional broker processes and metrics.
• Provide regular reporting and insights to the APAC GTC Lead and participate in global initiatives.
