Job summary

Northern Trust in Singapore seeks Head of APAC Compliance and APAC Asset Servicing CCO to lead the regional compliance framework with global alignment. Based in Singapore, you will partner with CCEO and BU CCOs to shape strategy, monitor regulatory changes, and drive a culture of integrity across the APAC business.

You will build a high-performing team, oversee policy effectiveness, and ensure risk controls, testing, and regulatory reporting meet the firm’s standards.

Qualifications

• Broad experience in APAC regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence regulators and executive leadership.
• Strong leadership and communication in matrix structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute APAC compliance strategy in line with risk appetite.
• Provide guidance on regulatory change and risk trends.
• Lead end-to-end APAC compliance program with BU CCOs.
• Oversee policies, controls, monitoring, QA across APAC.
• Coordinate with regulators on exams, inquiries and reporting.
• Promote collaboration, succession planning and accountability.
