Job summary

OFX is seeking an experienced Client Onboarding & Monitoring Lead to drive MAS-compliant onboarding and ongoing due diligence across APAC. You will lead the team, optimize processes, and ensure timely reviews within a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with risk, compliance and operations peers to strengthen controls, deliver data-driven insights, and coach staff to maintain excellence in client due diligence and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in AML/CTF, financial crime, or CDD roles within a regulated financial services or FinTech environment in Singapore.
• 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience in onboarding/compliance/monitoring within a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks (MAS, FATF, AUSTRAC, FCA, FINTRAC).
• Proven expertise in conducting periodic reviews and enhanced due diligence.
• Familiarity with transaction monitoring and KYC systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, monitoring, and OCDD tasks across Singapore and APAC.
• Oversee Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and risk rating refreshes.
• Approve reviews and escalations to ensure due diligence is completed.
• Escalate AML/CTF, sanctions, and other financial crime risks to Compliance and management.
• Manage onboarding checks in line with KYC, AML and CTF requirements; maximise conversion rates.
• Handle APAC case queues and support Singapore/Hong Kong activities.
• Support regulatory reviews, audits and remediation activities.
• Provide leadership to improve quality and efficiency of monitoring processes.
