Job summary

foodpanda invites you to join a 6-month traineeship to help build the next generation of Android applications using Kotlin. You’ll learn through classroom and on-the-job training and contribute to scalable, user-friendly mobile experiences for millions of users.

Work with a cross-functional team of frontend and backend engineers, design and product owners, and gain exposure to AI integration in mobile development while enjoying full-time benefits and structured learning.

Qualifications

• Interest or experience in learning new programming languages and tools to help build, maintain and operate software services at scale
• Have a good understanding or direct experience with coding in any languages and technologies (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Python, React, Swift)
• Exposure or curiosity about AI tools and how they fit into modern software development
• Be an analytical thinker and strong problem solver with a humble, inquisitive approach
• Good command of English with ability to articulate work scope and collaborate effectively

Responsibilities

• Learn and contribute to Android features for foodpanda's platform serving millions of users
• Collaborate with frontend/backend engineers, design and product owners in a fast-paced agile setting
• Gain exposure to AI integration in mobile development to stay at the cutting edge of mobile tech
