Job summary

JAC RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Android developer to build and enhance production Android applications using Kotlin.

The role involves integrating AI-driven capabilities through backend services, designing responsive UIs for AI workflows, and ensuring the apps meet performance and reliability standards. You will work with backend and ML engineers to deliver end-to-end functionality from API contracts to production readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Practical experience integrating AI tech (LLMs, CV, speech, or AI APIs).
• Strong async programming with Coroutines/Flow.
• Experience with RESTful or gRPC services and structured data.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience deploying production apps on Google Play.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain production Android applications using Kotlin.
• Integrate AI-driven capabilities via backend services and APIs.
• Design intuitive UIs for AI workflows, including streaming responses and partial results.
• Optimize performance, latency, and battery usage for AI-intensive use.
• Implement analytics, monitoring, and feedback mechanisms for AI evaluation.
• Collaborate with backend, platform, and ML engineers to define API contracts.
• Maintain high standards for stability, security, scalability, and production readiness.
