• Monitor defence and security-related developments in the region and the world
• Sense-make the developments within the existing geo-political context

• Produce written assessment papers to communicate findings and analytical judgements

Challenge(s)

• Maintaining a current and nuanced appreciation of complex geo-strategic and security-related developments across multiple regions simultaneously
• Synthesising diverse and occasionally incomplete information into timely, accurate, and well-reasoned written assessments

What We Are Looking For

• Education in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, or a related field is preferred
• Relevant experience in research, analysis, or a related field, with exposure to geo-strategic or security-related subject matter is preferred
• Strong analytical and sense-making skills
• Excellent written communication skills in English
• Good appreciation of geo-strategic and security-related developments
