Job summary

AIA Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual to assist the Team Lead in guiding a team for timely issuance of bills and policy contracts. This role involves driving operational changes to improve efficiency in Group Business billing and policy administration.

The ideal candidate will manage an assigned portfolio, track new business and policy renewals, communicate effectively with clients, and ensure high billing accuracy. A Diploma and at least 2 years of operations experience in the insurance industry is required.

About the Role

In this role, you will assist the Team Lead in guiding and motivating the team to ensure timely and accurate issuance of bills and policy contracts in support of Corporate Solutions’ goals and vision. You will drive operational changes to improve the efficiency and controls of Group Business billing and policy administration, working with various internal partners to support the onboarding process for new businesses and renewals, while reducing billing turnaround time.

Responsibilities

• Review, issuance and delivery of Group Insurance policy contracts, endorsements and bills.
• Manage assigned portfolio and support projects efficiently and effectively.
• Track and monitor new business and policy renewal to ensure that information is received in a timely manner by working closely with colleagues from Sales and Marketing.
• Set up and review new business/renewal policies in core system.
• Ensure high billing accuracy with due diligence checks.
• Participate in projects that involve improvement of operations efficiency, which could include User Acceptance Testing.
• Ensure service level commitments are met.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory compliance risks.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, intermediaries and colleagues.
• Communicate with intermediaries or clients via conference calls where required (Top producers/complex accounts, etc.).
• Attend to email enquiries promptly.
• Any other projects assigned.
