Job summary

DZ BANK in Singapore is seeking an Analyst/Associate in Payments & Operations to support front-to-back processing, SWIFT and regulatory reporting, and daily nostro activities. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure within a banking environment.

You will join a team under the Head of Payments & Operations (Singapore Branch) and contribute to system enhancements and cross-functional projects while delivering timely and accurate payments and statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
• 3–5 years of treasury operations and payments experience in a bank
• Fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome
• Ability to work under high pressure and meet deadlines
• Can-do attitude and proactive in system changes

Responsibilities

• Attend to queries and resolve issues from Front Office units
• Handle SWIFT RMA setup, SAP BCA static setup and Murex static setup
• Ensure accurate daily nostro reporting to Treasury
• Manage current account activities and issue daily/monthly statements
• Submit DTCC MAS regulatory Trades Reporting
• Identify daily workflow improvements and drive efficiency
• Participate in systems enhancements and ad hoc projects

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Payments & Operations (Singapore Branch), the incumbent will be expected to perform the following tasks:-

• Responsible for attending to queries and resolving issues from all the Front Office units
• Responsible for SWIFT RMA setup, SAP BCA static setup and Murex static setup
• Responsible for clearing sanction hits for incoming and outgoing payment messages
• Ensure all payments from TPH/Murex are validated successfully for accurate daily nostro reporting to the Treasury department
• Responsible for all current account activities and accurate generation and delivery of daily advice/monthly statements
• Responsible for accurate submission of DTCC MAS regulatory Trades Reporting
• Proactively identify areas for change in daily workflow to achieve maximum efficiency
• Prior experience in local payments clearing with GIRO/FAST/MEPS will be advantageous
• Actively take part in systems enhancement and ad hoc projects

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field of study
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in treasury operations and payments in a Bank
• Fresh graduates with prior relevant internship experience or a passion for payments and banking operations are also welcome to apply
• High sense of urgency
• Meticulous and strong attention to details
• Independently motivated and capable of driving system changes and enhancements
• Ability to work under high levels of pressure and meet short deadlines
• ‘Can-do’ attitude as both the team and the Bank are constantly upgrading to operate on the optimum level of effectiveness and efficiency
