Job summary

JLL Capital Markets in Singapore is seeking an Analyst / Associate to lead financial modelling and valuation across M&A, project financing, and capital raising mandates. The role supports sell-side, buy-side, and capital raise execution in renewables, storage, and infrastructure, while conducting sector research and preparing client deliverables.

You will apply AI-augmented tools to modelling workflows and work under Asia Lead supervision.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in M&A advisory or project finance.
• Direct exposure to power, utilities or renewables.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical thinking skills.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable working under pressure across multiple live mandates.
• Interest in AI-enabled tools to enhance modelling and research workflows.

The combined needs of economic growth, energy security, decarbonization, electrification and digitalization are driving unprecedented demand for Energy and Infrastructure investment across Asia Pacific. Established in 2025 as part of the expansion of JLL's European Energy & Infrastructure platform into the region, the team provides equity, financing, and capital raising advisory to clients with an initial focus on renewable energy, storage, and energy transition across key Asian markets.

Given the success of the team since inception, we are looking for an Analyst / Associate to join the team, based in Singapore and reporting to the Asia Lead. The Analyst / Associate is an intermediate-level position responsible for leading financial modelling and valuation work, as well as supporting origination (pitching) and execution activities. Final title will be determined based on assessed experience.

Responsibilities

The team is small and growing, Analysts / Associates report directly to the Asia Lead who gives them earlier ownership and client visibility on live transactions than is typical at larger platforms. The APAC team sits within a global 65-person Energy & Infrastructure business spanning APAC, EMEA and the US, sitting inside JLL's global Capital Markets division, providing various geographic and functional mid-term career paths.
