Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited in Singapore is seeking an experienced Team Lead for the Customer Engagement Team (CET) in AML Control. The role leads customer outreach and information gathering to support AML reviews, ensuring requests are completed accurately and promptly, in line with high standards.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, AML Reviewers and Operations to close information gaps, drive timely AML case completion and uphold documentation and control standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading customer outreach for AML reviews.
• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC processes and policies.
• Ability to coordinate with Relationship Managers, AML Reviewers and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer outreach activities, including RFI follow-ups, clarification requests and collection of supporting information for AML reviews.
• Ensure information obtained is accurate, complete and fit-for-purpose to support AML risk assessment and account strategy.
• Drive timely closure of outstanding customer information requests and prevent delays to AML case completion.
• Maintain high standards of documentation and ensure customer interactions and responses are properly captured in relevant systems.
• Ensure a clear audit trail and adherence to AML policies, procedures, customer outreach guidelines, and data-handling and confidentiality requirements.
• Maintain readiness for internal and external audits and reviews.
