Job summary

You will monitor performance, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues to minimize downtime. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, schematics reading, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, including 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Engineering is required or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits and basic electronic components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to fix mechanical systems.
• Vacuum system knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot to component level.
• Intermediate PC skills including MS Office familiarity.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance and health of AMHS equipment and detect abnormalities early.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance for reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Apply structured problem-solving to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation.
• Support equipment installations, relocations, calibrations, upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations, and vendors to improve uptime.
• Develop maintenance procedures and checklists.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and lessons learned.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work.
