Job summary

OCBC is seeking a proactive IT-Collections Associate to support and enhance Collections systems, ensuring smooth daily operations and cross-team collaboration. You will work on data extraction, reporting, and system improvements while engaging in ongoing digital transformation efforts.

The role welcomes fresh graduates with strong analytical and communication skills, proficient in SQL and MS Office, and eager to learn within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; internship or project experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SQL for data querying and analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of collections operations or project methodologies is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support day-to-day operations of Collections systems and related applications, review exceptions, and assist in issue resolution to minimize disruption.
  • Perform data extraction, run queries, and generate reports to support monitoring, management reporting, and business decisions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather system requirements and contribute to design and implementation of Collections projects.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure new functionalities meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen system controls.
  • Maintain system documentation, procedures, and control processes for regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in digital transformation initiatives to enhance Collections capabilities and customer engagement.
