Job summary

OCBC Group in Singapore is seeking a proactive analyst to join our Collections technology team. You will monitor day-to-day Collections systems, perform data extraction, run queries, and generate reports to guide decisions.

You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders, participate in UAT, and help automate processes while ensuring controls and regulatory compliance across our Collections platforms.

Qualifications

  • Relevant IT/CS degree.
  • Fresh graduates welcome; internship or project experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Collections operations or project management a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support day-to-day operations of Collections systems and related applications.

What you do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor and support the day-to-day operations of Collections systems and related applications, including reviewing exceptions generated from batch processes and assisting in issue resolution to minimize business disruption.
  • Perform data extraction, run queries, and generate reports to support operational monitoring, management reporting, and business decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather detailed system specifications, define user requirements, and contribute to the design and implementation of Collections system projects.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure new functionalities and system enhancements meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve system efficiency, automate manual processes, and strengthen system controls and operational effectiveness.
  • Support the maintenance of system documentation, procedures, and control processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in projects and digital transformation initiatives that enhance Collections capabilities and customer engagement.
Who you are
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with relevant internship, project, or work experience will have an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SQL for data querying, coding and analysis.
  • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of Collections operations or project management methodologies will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
