Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore is seeking an Asset Liability Management Portfolio Intelligence Intern to gain exposure to portfolio analytics, risk monitoring, financial modelling, and market research. You will work alongside treasury professionals to apply data-driven solutions for strategic portfolio management.

You will collaborate with portfolio managers and stakeholders, combining financial knowledge with programming and data analytics to drive efficiencies and deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset with interest in financial markets and portfolio management.
• Strong Excel skills including data manipulation and basic VBA/Python familiarity.
• Familiarity with Tableau and data analytics concepts for dashboarding and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ALM portfolios, P&L, issuer limits, PV01, CS01, and other risk metrics.
• Develop and maintain financial models for portfolio analysis and scenario assessment.
• Build and maintain VBA- and Python-based tools to automate reporting and improve workflows.
• Create Tableau dashboards to provide insights on portfolio performance and market developments.
• Mine data and analyze market indicators to support investment research.
• Assist in forecasting, trend analysis, and predictive modelling initiatives.
