Job summary

OCBC invites applications for an ALM Internship within the Collateral, Liquidity & Funding and Interest Rate Management teams. You will gain exposure to treasury management, financial markets, and data-driven decision-making while applying technical and analytical skills to real-world challenges.

Collaborate with traders and treasury professionals, develop financial models, and automate processes using Python, VBA, SQL, and Tableau.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

Balance Sheet Analytics: support balance sheet optimisation and liquidity planning.
Business Analytics: analyse P&L drivers, funding costs, and cashflow risks.
Liquidity & Funding Analysis: monitor funding metrics and identify trends.
Reporting & Visualisation: enhance dashboards and reporting using Tableau and other tools.
Market Research: monitor global financial markets and macro developments for risks and opportunities.
FTP & Interest Rate Analytics: support FTP analysis and scenario planning.
Financial Modelling: develop models for market analysis and treasury management.
Process Automation: automate workflows using Python, VBA, SQL, and Tableau.
Data Mining & Insights: analyse large datasets for strategic initiatives.
Ad-hoc Projects: assist treasury and analytics transformation initiatives.
