Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking an ALM Intern to support the Collateral, Liquidity & Funding (CLU) and Interest Rate Management (IRM) teams in Singapore. You will analyse balance sheet dynamics, monitor liquidity metrics, and develop models to enhance reporting and decision-making within treasury.

As part of a high-caliber team, you'll gain exposure to global markets, FTP analysis, and data-driven treasury insights while applying skills in Excel, SQL, Python and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Open to learning and feedback in a structured bank environment.
• Strong interest in financial markets, treasury management and data analytics.
• Analytical with quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and financial information.
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Balance Sheet Analytics: support balance sheet optimisation and liquidity planning.
• Business Analytics: analyse P&L drivers, funding costs and cashflow risks.
• Liquidity & Funding Analysis: monitor metrics and identify trends.
• Reporting & Visualisation: enhance dashboards and reporting using Tableau and other tools.
• Market Research: monitor global markets and macro developments for insights.
• FTP & Interest Rate Analytics: assist in FTP analysis and scenario planning.
• Financial Modelling: develop models for market analysis and forecasting.
• Process Automation: streamline workflows using Python, VBA, SQL and Tableau.
• Data Mining & Insights: analyse large datasets for strategic initiatives.
• Ad-hoc Projects: support treasury analytics and transformation initiatives.
