Job summary

SATS Ltd. in Singapore invites applications for a Ramp Operations Associate. You will perform pre-flight checks on ground support equipment, assist with aerobridge operations, and help load and secure baggage, cargo and mail in line with safety rules.

You will inspect cargo and equipment, report irregularities to the Ramp Loading Officer, ensure safe use of gear, and support the team to achieve on-time performance. The role requires outdoor work and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education completed.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Willingness to work outdoors and on rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operates and conducts pre-flight checks on ground support equipment including JCPLs, skyloaders, tractors, and transporters.
• Positions and operates the aerobridge or passenger steps safely according to airline and safety requirements.
• Assists in loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail, ensuring all loads are properly secured and verified against documentation.
• Inspects cargo, ULDs, and compartments for damages or leakages, reporting irregularities to the Ramp Loading Officer (RLO).
• Ensures safe and proper use of equipment during aircraft handling operations.
• Returns all equipment to designated parking areas and reports any defects or incidents promptly.
• Supports the Ramp Loading Officer (RLO) and team in ensuring safe, efficient operations and achieving on-time performance (OTP).

Key Requirement

• - Minimum secondary education
• - Able to read, write and communicate in English
• - A valid class 3/D driving license
• -Role requires the ability to walk long distances and climb equipment steps as part of operational duties
• -Able to perform duties outdoors and work on rotating shifts, based on operational needs
