Job summary

Cathay Pacific is seeking a Duty Airport Manager to lead and coordinate airport operations during shifts, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant service delivery. The role provides operational leadership to the airport team and suppliers on duty, managing issues and disruptions while supporting station priorities.

Requirements include a Diploma in an airport-related discipline, excellent English, 3+ years in airport operations, and 1+ year in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of written and spoken English is mandatory.
• At least three years’ airport operational and customer handling experience.
• At least one year’s supervisory/management experience with demonstrable planning ability.
• Strong decision-making and leadership abilities with teamwork orientation.
• Broad understanding of safety, security and regulatory procedures in aviation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate airport operations during assigned shift to deliver safety, security and quality standards.
• Act as operational duty holder delegate and manage disruptions and escalations.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and monitor supplier performance for compliance.
• Ensure premium customer service standards and seamless lounge operations.
• Supervise and mentor team members, manage rostering and resource deployment.
• Coordinate with authorities and partners, support incident and contingency responses.
