Job summary

MET ENGINEERING SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a baggage handler to load and unload aircraft and transport luggage across terminals in Singapore. You will ensure baggage reaches the correct destination while complying with safety regulations and flight schedules.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading baggage, transporting between aircraft and sorting areas, routing luggage by destination, and operating ground support equipment such as belt loaders and tow tractors.

Qualifications

• Experience loading/unloading baggage from aircraft.
• Ability to sort and route luggage by destination and flight schedule.
• Experience operating ground support equipment (belt loaders, tow tractors).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft.
• Transport baggage between aircraft, sorting areas, and terminals.
• Sort and route luggage according to flight destinations and schedules.
• Operate ground support equipment (baggage carts, belt loaders, tow tractors).
• Conduct baggage reconciliation and verify tags and flight information.
• Handle oversized, fragile, and special baggage per procedures.

The role involves loading and unloading aircraft, transporting luggage between terminals and aircraft, and ensuring all baggage reaches the correct destination while complying with airport safety and security regulations.

• Load and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft.
• Transport baggage between aircraft, baggage sorting areas, and terminals.
• Sort and route luggage according to flight destinations and schedules.
• Operate ground support equipment, including baggage carts, belt loaders, and tow tractors.
• Conduct baggage reconciliation and verify baggage tags and flight information.
• Handle oversized, fragile, and special baggage according to company procedures.

2 different shifts available:

• 9AM - 9PM (Day Shift)

• 9PM -9AM (Night Shift)
