Job summary

MET ENGINEERING SERVICES PTE LTD is hiring an Airport Baggage Transport Driver to operate airside vehicles and move baggage, cargo and mail between aircraft and baggage handling facilities at the Singapore airport.

You will conduct pre-operation safety checks, follow airport driving regulations, and report any defects or safety concerns to supervisors. Two shifts are available: 9AM–9PM and 9PM–9AM, with on-site work and responsibilities as described.

Responsibilities

• Operate baggage tractors, tugs, baggage carts and other airside vehicles.
• Transport baggage, cargo and mail between aircraft and baggage handling facilities.
• Deliver and collect baggage containers and ground support equipment per schedule.
• Ensure correct baggage and cargo delivery to assigned aircraft.
• Conduct pre-operation safety inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Follow airport driving regulations, airside safety procedures and security requirements.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, delays or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic care of assigned vehicles and equipment.

Job description

The Airport Baggage Transport Driver is responsible for operating airside vehicles to safely transport baggage, cargo, mail, and operational equipment between aircraft, baggage handling facilities, and designated airport locations.

• Operate baggage tractors, tugs, baggage carts, and other authorized airside vehicles.
• Transport passenger baggage, cargo, and mail between aircraft and baggage handling facilities.
• Deliver and collect baggage containers and ground support equipment according to operational schedules.
• Ensure correct baggage and cargo are delivered to the assigned aircraft and destinations.
• Conduct pre-operation safety inspections of assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Follow all airport driving regulations, airside safety procedures, and security requirements.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, delays, or safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic care of assigned vehicles and equipment.

2 different shifts available:

• 9AM - 9PM (Day Shift)

• 9PM -9AM (Night Shift
