Job summary

Wecruit Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a capable Airfreight Leader to oversee the function, directing day-to-day operations and building a high-performing team.

You will provide operational leadership, make key decisions on Airfreight activities and service delivery, coach staff to meet productivity targets, and collaborate with internal departments, airlines, customers and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and continuous service improvements.

• Resolve operational issues, escalations and exceptions with timely solutions and follow-up.

Job description

Lead and oversee the overall Airfreight function, including day-to-day operations and team performance.

Provide operational leadership and make key decisions relating to Airfreight activities and service delivery.

Ensure daily Airfreight operations are executed smoothly, efficiently and in accordance with established operational standards.

Lead, coach and support the team to achieve operational, productivity and customer service objectives.

Collaborate closely with internal departments, airlines, customers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and service delivery.

Maintain a hands-on management approach and provide operational support where required to ensure business continuity.

Manage operational issues, exceptions and escalations, implementing timely solutions and ensuring appropriate follow-up until resolution.
