Honeywell Aerospace in Singapore is seeking an Aircraft APU Engine Repair Technician II to perform hands-on maintenance on APU and engine core components, following strict manuals. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspection & Serviceability: Perform visual and dimensional inspections of aero engine hardware against quality requirements and approved manuals.
• Repair & Overhaul: Disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot, assemble, and test APU accessories or engine core components.
• Technical Compliance: Interpret technical manuals, engineering dispositions, repair procedures, and blueprint drawings.
• Workplace Standards: Maintain 5S housekeeping and TPM standards, including tool and gauge calibration.
• Continuous Improvement: Support engineering teams and initiate productivity or quality improvements.
• Comply with company HSE rules and procedures.

Aircraft APU Engine Repair Technician II

BUILD YOUR TECHNICAL FOUNDATION IN AEROSPACE

Put your mechanical, engineering or technical education into practice in a hands-on aerospace environment working with critical aircraft components.

As an Aircraft APU Engine Repair Technician II, you will develop specialized technical knowledge by working directly with APU and aircraft Engine Core, performs hands-on maintenance, inspection, assembly, and testing of aerospace components and APU systems based on strict technical manuals.

Through structured on-the-job training, you will gain practical experience in how aerospace components operate, how faults are identified, and how mechanical and electromechanical components are repaired, overhauled and tested.

This position is ideal for candidates with a mechanical, engineering or technical background who enjoy hands-on problem solving, understanding how equipment works and applying their skills in a highly technical aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Serviceability: Perform visual and dimensional inspections of aero engine hardware against quality requirements and approved manuals
• Repair & Overhaul: Disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot, assemble, and test APU accessories or engine core components (such as pneumatic valves, fuel/oil pumps, and electrical starters).
• Technical Compliance: Interpret technical manuals, engineering dispositions, repair procedures, and blueprint drawings.
• Workplace Standards: Maintain 5S housekeeping and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) standards, including tool and gauge calibration.
• Continuous Improvement: Support engineering teams and initiate productivity or quality improvements. Use precision measurement equipment, specialized tooling and test systems to evaluate component condition and performance.
• Comply with company HSE rules and procedures.

YOU MUST HAVE

• NTC/NITEC or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Technology, Marine Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance or a related technical discipline.
• 1+ year of hands-on technical experience involving MRO, assembly, troubleshooting, inspection or testing of mechanical or electromechanical equipment; experience may include pumps, valves, pneumatic or hydraulic systems, motors/starters, rotating equipment or similar equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to work rotating shifts.

• Preferably with analytical knowledge and computer literate.
• Initiates & implements continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.
• Familiar with MS Office applications including MS Teams.
