Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Singapore is seeking an Aircraft APU Engine Repair Technician II to perform hands-on maintenance on APU and engine core components, following strict manuals. You will gain practical experience through structured on-the-job training and work with rotating shifts onsite at Gul Circle.

The role suits those with a mechanical or engineering background who thrive in a highly technical aerospace environment and are capable of interpreting technical documents and procedures.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with MRO, assembly, troubleshooting, inspection or testing of mechanical/electromechanical equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Inspection & Serviceability: Perform visual and dimensional inspections of aero engine hardware against quality requirements and approved manuals.
• Repair & Overhaul: Disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot, assemble, and test APU accessories or engine core components.
• Technical Compliance: Interpret technical manuals, engineering dispositions, repair procedures, and blueprint drawings.
• Workplace Standards: Maintain 5S housekeeping and TPM standards, including tool and gauge calibration.
• Continuous Improvement: Support engineering teams and initiate productivity or quality improvements.
• Comply with company HSE rules and procedures.

NTC/NITEC or equivalent technical qualification
