Job summary

Thales in Singapore seeks an experienced Operational Analyst to define Operational Concept Descriptions (OCD) and User Scenarios (UOC). You will translate operational needs into concrete system requirements with System Engineers and support product reviews to ensure alignment with operational goals.

In this role you will build and validate datasets, assist with FAT/SAT activities, and mentor engineering teams while collaborating with international clients.

Qualifications

• Instructor grade or Air Traffic Control qualifications.
• Operational Experience in TWR/APP/ACC - CAAS experience would be highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of global civil aviation frameworks, including ICAO standards, Eurocontrol regulations, and FAA rules.
• Experience with adaptation dataset preparation.

Responsibilities

• Define Operational Concept Descriptions (OCD) and User Scenarios (UOC).
• Translate operational needs into system requirements with System Engineers.
• Support Product Owners and Systems Engineers in design reviews for compliance with operational needs.
• Provide feedback during Sprint reviews and PI demos to catch gaps before deployment.
• Assist customer and internal design reviews with operational expertise.
• Build and populate operational datasets and assist automation with dataset creation.
