Ideal candidates have 5+ years in a similar role, with air freight experience (preferably semiconductor shipments), knowledge of Incoterms, and willingness to travel to ALPS for visits

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
• Experience in air freight operations support, preferably in semiconductor shipments.
• Proven experience with forwarders, integrators, and premium service carriers.
• Solid knowledge of Incoterms, shipment liabilities, and claims processes.
• Willingness to travel to ALPS for warehouse visits and peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for freight operations, focusing on air freight (95%), with trucking (4%) and ocean freight (1%).
• Collaborate with 3PL warehouses, freight providers, and stakeholders to resolve shipment issues and documentation.
• Respond promptly and professionally to stakeholders' inquiries and shipment queries.
• Manage service recovery, containment of escalations, and root-cause investigations.
• Oversee 3PL transportation team and freight provider performance to meet KPIs.
• Identify and implement enhancements to operations and systems to improve efficiency and service quality.
