Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (Freight Operations) to manage air freight support and related logistics activities. The role works with 3PL warehouses, freight providers and global stakeholders to ensure smooth shipments and timely issue resolution.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in freight operations, experience with air freight, and flexibility to provide weekend support during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight operations.
• Air freight operations support experience.
• Willing to travel to ALPS for warehouse visits.
• Able to support on weekends during peak periods.
• Remote support is possible.
• Able to respond professionally in emails, meetings, calls, etc.
• Comfortable to attend meetings with 3PL warehouses, freight providers and global stakeholders.
• Independent, responsible, resourceful and fast learner with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Freight operations support (air freight 90%, trucking 9%, ocean freight 1%).
• Coordinate with 3PL warehouses and freight providers to resolve shipment issues.
• Respond promptly to stakeholders for shipment queries and issues.
• Service recovery: containment of escalations and investigations.
• Manage performance of 3PL transportation team and freight providers to meet service standards and KPIs.
• Process enhancement requests for operations and systems.
