Job summary

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) invites applications for a role in the Financial Infrastructure & Artificial Intelligence Office (FIA) to shape technology strategy and architecture enabling responsible AI in Singapore's financial sector.

You will assess emerging technologies, build roadmaps, and collaborate with banks, AI firms, academia and public-sector partners to deliver secure and scalable AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, or related fields in financial services, technology, consulting or public sector.
• Strong understanding of AI, data and digital technologies and their implications for financial services.
• Ability to translate technical developments into industry strategies, infrastructure priorities and practical recommendations.
• Experience developing technology roadmaps and target-state architectures or large-scale technology initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to evaluate opportunities, trade-offs and risks from business and policy perspectives.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders across industry, technology providers, academia and government.
• Excellent written communication with experience preparing strategy papers and presentations for senior management.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and respond to changes.

Responsibilities

• Technology Strategy: Assess emerging AI, data and digital infrastructure technologies and their implications for the financial sector.
• Future-State Architecture: Develop strategic roadmaps and reference architectures for future financial-sector capabilities.
• Industry Standards & Interoperability: Advance approaches to interoperability, digital identity, data exchange and trusted AI adoption.
• Industry Engagement: Engage financial institutions, technology firms, researchers and public-sector agencies to build consensus on future technology priorities.
• Strategic Advisory: Provide technical input to industry-development, policy and national AI initiatives.
