Job summary

Nanyang Technological University (SPMS) in Singapore seeks a Project Officer to support AI-enabled seismic data processing. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/Data Science/Math/Software Engineering or related field.
• Strong Python programming skills and data analysis/machine learning experience.
• Knowledge of AI/ML techniques; experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for scientific research.
• Willingness to learn geophysical field techniques and seismic workflows.
• Good written and verbal communication in multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead geophysical fieldwork, planning deployment and maintenance of seismic equipment.
• Develop AI-based methods for seismic data preprocessing, including denoising, quality control.
• Manage seismic datasets ensuring data integrity, quality, and project compliance.
• Support the development of seismic data processing workflows for imaging and subsurface analysis.
• Assist in analysis and interpretation of seismic data and AI research.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and present findings at project meetings.
• Collaborate with researchers, students, and external collaborators to support project objectives.
