Job summary

MSD is seeking an AI Security Architect to lead security strategy for AI across the enterprise. You will ensure AI systems are secure by design, compliant, and resilient against evolving threats.

You will collaborate with business, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to embed secure-by-design principles throughout the AI lifecycle, drive threat modeling, and translate insights into practical security roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cybersecurity, security architecture, cloud security, application security, or related fields.
• 2+ years designing, securing, or assessing AI, ML, generative AI, or advanced analytics solutions.
• Deep AI security knowledge: prompt injection, jailbreaks, model theft, data leakage, agent abuse.
• Strong security architecture, threat modeling, and risk management understanding.
• Hands-on with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba) and their AI services.
• Experience securing enterprise AI platforms, models, APIs, and agents.
• Familiarity with AI tech including LLMs, RAG, vector DBs, AI agents, orchestration.
• SDLC, DevSecOps, and cloud-native architectures expertise.
• Ability to communicate risk to executives and engineers.
• Experience in global enterprise environments across regions.
• Strong analytical mindset balancing innovation, value, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise AI security reference architectures, standards, and security requirements.
• Support security architecture reviews and risk assessments for AI systems and platforms.
• Design security controls for AI-specific threats including prompt injection and data leakage.
• Embed secure-by-design principles throughout the AI lifecycle with product teams.
• Drive threat modeling and identify security requirements for new implementations.
• Promote AI security best practices and drive awareness through guidance and training.
• Track emerging AI threats and translate insights into practical security roadmaps.
