Job summary

GlobalFoundries inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Digital Manufacturing AI team in Singapore.

You will build scalable AI-driven applications that connect manufacturing data with enterprise systems, delivering decision support and productivity gains. You will design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software, including backend services with Python/Flask and REST APIs, and frontend work with Angular, React, or Vue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering/AI/Data Science or related field.
• Experience with Python/Flask backend development.
• Experience with frontend JS frameworks (Angular/React/Vue).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack software applications.
• Build backend services using Python, Flask, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular, React, or Vue.
• Integrate applications with manufacturing databases, APIs, dashboards, and enterprise systems.
• Develop AI-powered capabilities including RAG, AI assistants, and agent-based workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and manufacturing experts to deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, defect triage, performance tuning, and CI/CD practices.
• Follow safety, cybersecurity, and Responsible AI best practices.
