Qualifications

• Strong hands-on network operations experience across enterprise, campus, data centre, or cloud environments.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall, load balancing, and monitoring tools.
• Cloud network design concepts including VPC/VNet, hybrid connectivity, and security controls.
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with network automation, scripting, or workflow tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Ability to use AI tools safely for analysis, reporting, and optimization.
• Understanding AI-related risks and need for human validation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day network operations: monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, escalation, and service restoration.
• Manage and optimise enterprise, data centre, wireless, internet, VPN, firewall, and cloud connectivity services.
• Design, review, and support cloud network architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Collaborate with apps, infra, cloud, cybersecurity, and vendor teams to ensure reliable and secure services.
• Use automation tools to streamline configuration checks, compliance validation, reporting, and alerts.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to support log analysis, incident summaries, root-cause analysis, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain network scripts, workflows, dashboards, and runbooks.
• Ensure changes follow change management, testing, approvals, rollback, and documentation processes.
• Review network performance and security posture; propose improvements.
• Lead post-incident reviews and drive preventive actions.
• Mentor engineers in best practices, automation, and cloud networking.
