Job summary

National University of Singapore's IT division seeks an accomplished leader to drive end-to-end delivery of digital products and AI-enabled platforms that enhance the student experience. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors, steering projects from ideation through deployment and optimization.

You will apply AI, automation, and data analytics to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring alignment with security, governance, and enterprise architecture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 10 years within IT industry, inclusive of 3+ years in a technical role, and 7+ years’ experience in project/product management.
• Proven track record in delivering complex digital systems or platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern architectures (cloud-native, microservices, APIs), SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• AI Fluency: hands-on experience with AI/data-driven initiatives; familiarity with generative AI, agentic AI, and ML concepts.
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and user-centered design.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders; self-driven and adaptable.
• Certifications in PMP, CITPM, Scrum or equivalent; experience in Higher Education or public sector transformation.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for successful end-to-end delivery of digital products, platforms, and IT projects.
• Drive project execution and product lifecycle management from ideation to continuous improvement.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable, user-centric solutions.
• Lead requirement analysis, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-launch optimisation.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
• Champion Agile / hybrid delivery methodologies and modern DevOps practices.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve processes and user experience across domains.
• Translate business needs into clearly defined AI use cases and measurable success criteria.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI solutions from discovery to adoption and improvement.
• Drive design and implementation of agentic workflows and AI-powered automations with orchestration tools (e.g., n8n).
• Build strong partnerships with business users and manage vendors across procurement and performance.
• Lead tendering, solution evaluation, and contract management.
• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders."
• Oversee application maintenance and support to ensure SLA compliance and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and performance metrics.
• Manage incidents and system enhancements; ensure audit, security, and compliance.
